Founding background

DOMOTE was founded in 2008 in Hong Kong. After working at a boutique talent agency during university, the founder set out to build his own — a place to help others enter modelling and follow his passion into the industry. With limited business experience but no shortage of conviction, he persevered through the early grind, won early clients, and built a roster of quality talent in short order.

DOMOTE works at the edge of fashion and entertainment across Greater China. We supply male and female models for fashion magazines, catalogue shoots, TV commercials, runway shows, and brand events. Clients include Vogue, GQ, Marie Claire, Bazaar, Elle, and a long roster of other international names. Our brief: pair fashion resources with the right client connections to bring our models to a global audience.

The Hong Kong head office operates as Galaxy Network Media Company Limited, covering Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and Beijing. Mainland China business runs through Galaxy Network Communication Company Limited, primarily out of Wuhan. Branches across Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Wuhan, with extended reach into Shanghai, Taipei, Tokyo, and Seoul.
